Did you have a pregnancy test? Yes
What was the result. Positive (I had a scan as well)
If no pregnancy test was taken - do you think you were pregnant? How strongly do you feel this way? I knew I was pregnant in the first week - even though I did not have any test results. Immediately my breasts were swolen, my eating habbits changed drastically and my mood was different.

How was the pregnancy ended? Herbal abortion
Were you successful in using the herbs? Yes
Would you try herbs again, or recommend them to a friend in the same situation? Yes

Is there anything that clued you in that the herbs might be working before bleeding started? I felt the contactions a few hours after beginning to take the herbs

Is this your first pregnancy? yes

How many weeks pregnant were you when the herbs were started? 4 weeks and 6 days
For how many days were the herbs used (total)? 8 days
What was the date the pregnancy was terminated? Not sure, I started bleeding the day after beginning the herbs.

Were you using birth control? Yes,but slipped up. I did receive my overdue injection 2 days after conception though
What kind/method of birth control/contraception were you using? Nuristerate injections (2 monthly)
Do you know how/why it failed? Was irresponsible

Did you experience any symptoms or signs of pregnancy? Yes, swolen breasts, mood changes and eating habit changes
When did they start? within the first week from falling pregnant

Name of the herb: Vitamin C, Dong Quai,Black Cohosh, parsley tea and Omega 3 & 6
Form or method taken or used: Pills
Amount taken: Vit C 2000mg ; Dong Quai 200 mg; Black Cohosh 200 mg ; Parsley throughout the day ; Evening Primrose 1000mg / day
Frequency: Vit C every 4 hours; Dong Quai every 4 hours; Black cohosh every 4 hours - set my alarm during the evening
Duration (dates are useful) : 29 October - 6 October ( did not take any Dong Quai and black Cohosh from the 3rd of October and just continued with the Vit c, parsley and evening primrose

side effects: I was quite tired and emotional - currently I am a student thus I had the priveldge to stay at home during this time. I can still feel my body recouperating. My liver and kidneys does feel a bit sensitive but I am drinking a load of water.

How did the herbs affect you? no real side effects except for the tiredness and toxidity
Any positive effects? not that I know of
Where there any negative effects? no, not really
Do you have any health problems or issues? no, just putting myself though detox for incase

How did being pregnant make you feel physically? stressed, fat, bloated

If the herbs caused miscarriage -- how did you feel just before bleeding began? And when bleeding started - How was the bleeding, cramping, etc?

The cramping was ok. I do not usually cramp before or during my period so this was definately a new experience. I thought it was rather good to feel my body working. I did take warm showers to releive the discomfort and drank loads of water to save my kidneys. When the bleeding eventually started it was spotty, becomming more heavy than usual on around day 3. I did notice chunky bits and thought of it as a good sign. I was rather stressed that the herbal abortion might not work because I was already 5 weeks pregnant but thank goodness it did. The bleeding became almost see though and then spotty for about 6 more days.

My breast have become normal again, ny mood is lighter but I am still craving salty stuff. Forgot to say that I took extra magnesium and calcium as well as folic acid and vit b complext in order to help my body cope with the loss of minerals and
