Age: 25
Pregnancy Test: Negative; felt she was pregnant.
Resolution: Herbs were successful
Did you have a pregnancy test? YES (ept)
When was it taken? 2 weeks into my new pill pack, as soon as i felt the first symptoms.....
What was the result. it was negative
If no pregnancy test was taken - do you think you were pregnant? How strongly do you feel this way? Did you experience any symptoms or signs of pregnancy?
yes, i was 98% positive, my body was reacting in ways it never had, my breasts grew larger (i'm only a size B so it was very noticeable), they were extremely sore and tender to the touch, the nipples were enlarged as well. I woke every morning for a week, completely nauseous. I was also much moodier than usual, and I felt bloated.
How was the pregnancy ended? I began by using vitamin C -- 1000mg every 2 hours -- 5 on waking and 5 before sleep. I did that for 6 days, and though the swelling in my breasts subsided, I had no bleeding.
I then began taking dong quai and black cohosh along with the vitamin C: vitamin c -- 1000mg every 2 hours -- 5 on waking and 5 before sleep dong quai -- 1000mg every 4 hours
black cohosh -- 2 capsules at mealtimes -- 3 times daily, plus 4 in morning & 4 in evening.
Were you successful in using the herbs? After 2 days of using dong quai and black cohosh with the vitamin C I had the first signs of spotting. I stopped taking both the herbs and now have a strong dark pink flow which is slightly clumpy.
Is this your first pregnancy? yes
Were you using birth control? yes
What kind/method of birth control/contraception were you using? BC pills.
Do you know how/why it failed? I was taking an antibiotic and my boyfriend and were not as careful as we should have been.
for how many days were the herbs used (total)? 8

For me this was am effective way to regulate my body and terminate a pregnancy without having a medical abortion. I do recommed this, however, whenever possible I suggest speaking with a herbal practitioner or your doctor before beginning this, doing a lot of research on your own, and DEFINITLY contact a doctor if you otice anything out of the ordinary (i.e. extremely heavy, painful bleeding, an odd smell, heart palpitations, or faintness). I really appreciate this site and think it is absolutely wonderful
that the information is available for those who are looking for this particular guidance. congrats.
