When did they start? approx 2 weeks earlier

I used Vitamin C-500mg(ascorbic acid) and Dong Quai only. I started by taking 4 500 mg Vitamin C tablets to start off the process. Then I would take 1 every hour, except for when sleeping. When I woke, I would take one every hour. I did this for the first day, only with Vitamin C. I also drank two cups of dried parsley tea. The next day, I started taking the Dong Quai. (400mg capsules). I took 2 early in the morning. Then during the day I took 4 more. I also drank a few cups of herbal ginseng tea during the day. I really didnt keep a schedule with the Dong Quai, as I was actually nervous to be taking it. I do honestly believe it was the Dong Quai that finally started the cramping on the 2nd night of taking the herbs. Then that evening I had pinkish spotting, and about an hour later I was bleeding as normal. (It was a very emotional moment for me when I saw that I was spotting. I couldnt believe it was happening so quickly!)

Side effects. I felt somewhat sleepless the first night, although it could have been do to the stress my body was undergoing, otherwise, just very thirsty, I believe due to the Vitamin C.

How did the herbs affect you? I had no problems at all with the herbs

Any positive effects? (actually I had a cold while I was doing this, so the vitamin c helped me physically also, which was good. Stress relief!!!!!!!!

Where there any negative effects?No

Do you smoke tobacco? Yes
Do you have any health problems or issues? No
How did the herbs make you feel physically? Fine, no change. Maybe slightly wired.
How did being pregnant make you feel physically? Horrible, tired, stressed out, and worried.

If the herbs caused miscarriage -- how did you feel just before bleeding began? I felt very slight cramping, and I just felt like I knew what was happening. I was not scared , maybe a little anxious

When bleeding started - How was the bleeding, cramping, etc? The bleeding started like a normal period for me would. Slight to moderate bleeding, slight cramping. Actually today(March 25) the cramping has gotten a little stronger at times, but is still, like my ordinary period would be. I have had a few small blood clots?!, but nothing major. So I am not worried.

Could you reflect on the process of a herbal abortion and write a paragraph about it. I would like to add something of this nature to my website, but would like other experiences to draw upon besides my own. Thanks.

I believe that having an herbal abortion, is a "natural" way for a woman to be able to control her own body and thoughts about having a child. I am a firm believer that every woman has the right to an abortion, if she feels it is the right thing in life for her. In my experience , an herbal abortion felt natural, It did not feel painful, discomforting, stressful as a medical abortion would have. I have been through that before once, and it is a very traumatic thing (and painful) to go through. It is not easy to deal with. I would like to say that I believe if a woman would like to abort, that the herbal is the way to go. It is all natural, less traumatic and might I add, ALOT less expensive. It cost me $8.00 for the two bottles I used and they are still 1/2 full! I hope this helps, as I understand what each and everyone woman is going through if they are looking at your website. Thank you SO much for your information, there are no words that can ever express how greatly appreciated you are for sharing your wisdom with other women, including myself.

Your Story -
I was approximately one week late starting my period, and I did get extremely nervous! I have had 3 pregnancies, all of which were full term and healthy. I also have had one surgical abortion, which was very traumatic for me and I would never want to go through that again. ( although I might have, if I havent found this wonderful website! Thank you Sister Zeus!)

Once I located this website online, I was all for trying it. I figured, if it worked, that would be wonderful, if not, there were other alternatives. So I first went out and bought some Vitamin C(ascorbic acid), and some Dong Quai capsules. I started the first day by taking 4-500mg Vitamin C tablets. Then one every hour until bedtime, and then I did not take any until the next morning. Then when I woke up I took 4 more and then 1 every hour after that. I started the Dong Quai (400mg capsules).the second day. I took 2 in the morning and 4 spread out thru the day. I also drank a few cups of dried parsley tea the first day. And herbal ginseng tea the second day. Which I have no idea if that had anything to do with helping or not. I just enjoy the herbal ginseng tea for a quick pick me up.

I cant believe it happened so quickly, I was skeptical at first, but I was very open to trying something new. By the 2nd evening by 7pm I was spotting(pinkish), and then an hour later I was bleeding normally. I was very relieved and happy. I am so grateful to Sister Zeus for sharing her wisdom and knowledge with me and every woman who is going through this. Thank you! I encourage anyone who is skeptical or scared about trying this, to please read all the information on this website before going for a surgical abortion. It was very easy to go through, as where a surgical abortion is not, physically and mentally.

I do not feel as if I lost a chid, I feel as if I have gained my strength back , gained knowledge that will always help me in life and also the knowledge of how many women are out there going through this.

If you do not know about herbs, please be very careful, as I was very careful and actually scared to take the Dong Quai , but first, I got information about it and then felt comfortable taking it.

Everything went A-OK and Thank you again

There are many lessons that can be learned from an experience such as this, Do you feel you have learned something from this experience? If so what? Yes, I have learned that herbs are wonderful and not enough people have knowledge about them.
