Not Pregnant
Herbs were successful.

Did you have a pregnancy test? No. There was no need because I am 100% sure I was not pregnant (no intercourse since last cycle).
Were you successful in using the herbs? Yes, I successfully menstruated after using parsley and Vitamin C.
How long do your cycles usually run? My cycles are on average 29-31 days.
Do you cycle regularly or irregularly? Very regularly.
What was the date when the herbs were started? I started the herbs on day 35 of my cycle. The dates aren't so important in my case since I was not pregnant.

For how many days were the herbs used (total)? About 2 days
What was the date bleeding started if herbs were successful? I started bleeding on day 37.

Please include a summary of dosage information.
My cycles are usually very regular, lasting approximately 29-31 days. This cycle was very different though. Based on checking my cervical mucus, I estimate that I ovulated around the full moon. Only this month, there was also a lunar eclipse. I think this definitely had an effect on my cycle as it lasted very long and I experienced a lot of pain. That’s why I decided to use the Vit C/parsley method – I was experiencing very acute lower back pain (a backache is a usual pre-menstrual symptom for me, but never like this) to the point where I had trouble walking and bending. I was also experiencing a lot of painful cramping around the time I should have been menstruating (day 29-31), but there was no blood. I knew that these symptoms would go away when the flow started, so after 5 days of lots of pain and no flow, I decided to use herbs and vitamins to promote the blood. There was no chance of me being pregnant as I did not have intercourse since my last cycle.

On day 35 I made some tea of fresh parsley (easy to find herb in the Middle East) and drank it after work. From then on, I took 1,000 mg of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid only) every two hours until bedtime (total of 4,000 mg). Before bed I drank another mug of parsley tea and took an extra 500 mg of Vit. C (so in a two hour span I took the regular 1,000 mg dose, drank the tea, and took an extra 500 mg). I did not wake up at night to take any, but took 1,000 mg Vit. C early in the morning as soon as I woke up. I kept up the 1,000mg every two hours all day. In the afternoon I felt my cervix (to see if it was open or not - i.e. would I be flowing soon), and I discovered that I had started bleeding. I kept up the doses into the evening and stopped before bedtime.

I noticed that I bled some dense, heavy clots and the flow was particularly heavy for the first day. The next day I didn't take any Vitamin C and while the blood was still flowing and very clotty, I noticed it had slowed down. I took a few more doses (2 or 3) to kick start the flow again, and then stopped. In total I did two days of doses. After my cycle started, my back pain subsided (though it didn't disappear) and the cramping was reduced.

I believe that this method was very successful for me and I would definitely use it again. I also think it would be successful for a termination, though in that case I would be more diligent and would take doses during the night.
