I am a true believer now that this method works. I am 26, engaged to be married and as much as I want a child, am not financially or emotionally ready to deal with a child or the birth process. I also have high blood pressure so I knew a pregnancy right now was a very bad idea.

The day I ovulated ( I have a strict 28 day schedule) My fiancée and I had sex and the condom fell off at a very inopportune time. Obviously years of practice does NOT always make perfect. I brushed it aside and forgot about it.

Five days later, during a massive heat wave, my breasts started getting weird looking and hurting incredibly. (they are large to begin with but my nipples were doing weird things!) I passed it off to the heat. I couldn't even walk down stairs or shower with out pain. Then I started with the vomiting, nausea, sleepiness, and other strange symptoms. I had a metallic taste in my mouth that would not go away, spit started pooling in my mouth, and I cried at TV commercials It hit me that I must be pregnant. My period was due in three days.

After deciding this is not what I wanted if it was indeed a pregnancy I started researching on the Internet. The day my period was due I was so sick I couldn't keep down any food or wear a bra. I found this site and decided to try its method. I took my first preg test and it was negative. The symptoms persisted.
I used 400 Mg of Dong Quai with 1000 mg of Vitamin C with Rose Hips {Note: products with rose hips should be avoided as they contain bio-flavenoids and work to prevent miscarriage}. I bought these at a GROCERY STORE. This, every four hours. I made tea with parsley from my garden and Ginger root from an oriental grocery. I sipped the tea almost constantly. It calmed my stomach.

Just for the heck of it I ate a whole pineapple too. I was amazed it stayed down since I had been able to get a thing to stay down in three days. I picked at the pineapple here and there and had a few saltines.

24 hours later with no sleep to mention, still no period. Now I was officially late by one day. I know this isn't too late, but my symptoms were so extreme I couldn't be imagining this. And I've been like clock work for 15 years. I awoke Sunday morning with no period, took my herbs and ate some pineapple. then I got into bed, laid down and concentrated on getting my period. I read this page a few times and got some meditation ideas from other women in the same situation. I'm not a meditator or very spiritual, but I visualized my period starting. Then I dozed off.

I awoke about ten minutes later like someone had poked me in the side. I felt cramping. I checked, and I was bleeding! I continued the herbs in smaller doses and had some tea. My period was heavy and the cramps were blinding, but I made it through. I felt weak but relived and spent the day in bed. This morning I took the extra pregnancy test I was saving. It was positive. A positive pregnancy test even though I have my period! {Note: this is normal, it takes the pregnant hormones a few days to clear out of your system usually about 5 days maybe a week before pregnancy tests would be negative.}

Herbs are amazing! thank you soo much Sister Zeus and other woman for sharing!
