*At night I took four 500 mg. time-release Vit C and 1000 mg. DQ before bed, then woke up four hours later with my alarm and repeated. I took the primrose oil to prepare my body for the DQ (to soften the cervix as your site says); I stopped it because I thought it might counteract the DQ, since it's supposed to inhibit uterine contractions (why it works so well for me when I have cramps!).
I was fairly religious about this schedule. I was amazed at how less pregnant I felt when I started the Vit C (I started feeling pregnant the day after I conceived, even my breasts got tender right away, with the backache and oppressive tiredness). The Vitamin C worked so well at minimizing the symptoms that I was starting to wonder if it was all in my head toward the time my period was to show up, but a home pregnancy test put to rest any such delusions I might have entertained.
Is there anything you would have done differently? In retrospect... probably I would just have waited till I had a positive pregnancy test and then gone in for the M+M. I spent a long time taking massive doses of supplements with an unknown success rate, which I then followed up with more bad stuff from my doctor. it probably would have been easier on me physically if I had decided on the M+M as Plan A, since it's supposed to work 94% of the time. On the other hand, I sure learned a lot from doing the
research into herbs and supplements, and don't regret the experience of having tried it for the reason that it was something new and a chance to learn more about my body and myself.
Thanks for the wonderful service to English-speaking women across the globe!
