My Story - As a college students, my boyfriend and I found ourselves stuck in a hard spot without options when I discovered I was pregnant. When we first started having sex we discussed what would happen if we got me pregnant. An abortion was the only option. Neither one of us have room for a child in our lives right now with both of us looking at 6-8 more years of schooling. Because of the nature of financial aid, getting married was not an option as neither one of us would be able to pay for school without the government help of being a dependent. And without parental support an abortion was the only practical option. I found this sight about herbal abortions and that afternoon started the Vitamin C. I continued onto add the Black Cohosh and Dong Quai without any results. I do not normally experience abdominal cramping and had none with the herbs. I was only more nauseated. I had to find other options.

After reading many informative sites on clinical abortions I found an organization that is dedicated to women and their choices. The Feminist Women's Health Centers are wonderful. If you are sure of what you want to do they don't question your decisions. I was a person and treated respectfully. Although it took almost four hours to complete the two minute procedure, I was very happy with their care. If you have to go to a medical center find one through your local Feminist Women's Organization. They know who the real clinics are and how to avoid the fake ones. Do you homework. I'm glad that I did.

There are many lessons that can be learned from an experience such as this, Do you feel you have learned something from this experience? If so what? I've learned that everyone is vulnerable and will be held accountable for their decisions. My boyfriend and I decided to have sex before we got married. And we had to deal with the results; pregnancy.

Is there anything you would have done differently? Not gotten pregnant.
