If the herbs caused miscarriage -- how did it feel? Even though I miscarried 2 weeks after using the herbs, I believe they contributed to the miscarriage. It feels like a painful period. Lots of cramping and back aches.

I knew immediately when I missed my period that I was pregnant. I've missed my period twice since I started when I was 10 years old and both times I have been pregnant. At the time I was visiting a friend in Holland and was unable to get the herbs I found out about on your website, so I had to wait until I got back home to Scotland to start. My partner was on a business trip when I got back so I started them alone which I do not recommend. It is very stressful and it's more comforting to have someone around to help.

I started with 1000 mg of vitamin C in effervescent form because my stomach does not tolerate pills, especially vitamins, very well. Must admit it was alot of water to drink but I think it saved my stomach some discomfort. I took the Vit C drink every two hours with a double dose (2000 mg) before bed, awaking once in the night for another 2000 mg dose. I did this for 3 days.

On the 4th day I added Dong Quai, 1000 mg every 4 hours. I was a bit worried cause I could only get it in pill form and I thought my stomach would complain but it didn't. It did cause me to be very gassy and I burped alot. Once the Dong Quai was started, I became a bit crampy. Not hard-core period cramps, but soft cramps. I felt this was a positive sign so I didn't let it bother me.

One the 5th day I started the black cohosh. I was getting a bit discouraged but decided to trudge ahead. I took 1000 mg of black cohosh every 4 hours in a tincture form. This was much easier on my stomach and didn't taste as bad as I feared. Mixed it in an ounce of water and swallowed it like a shot.

I continued all this through the 8th day. When no miscarriage had occurred after the 8th day, I stopped all the herbs, I could tell my body was not happy with all the high doses. I felt disappointed that it hadn't worked but I felt empowered that I had tried to take control of my body without medical treatment.

I made an appt for a medical abortion a week later. Because it was early in the pregnancy (less than 6 weeks) the appt was for a week later. On the day before the scheduled appt, I woke at 5 am with horrible cramps. I went to the bathroom and found brown blood in my panties. The cramping and brown blood continued all day.

The next day, the day of the appt, I was having heavy red blood. I went to the appt and the nurse told me most likely I was having a miscarriage. Brown blood is the first sign. And I learned something interesting. Miscarriages are most likely to happen when you're due to start your period, the body is in menstruation mode even if you're pregnant and it's one hormone that stops it. I have another appt scheduled for later this week to do a scan and find out if the pregnancy is successfully gone.

I believe the herbs helped the miscarriage along. I think if I had started them the day I was to start my period, I would have started. My body just wanted to wait until the next period was due. I highly recommend that women try the herbs before going for a medical abortion.

As for this website, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I spent hours looking for something of this nature on the web and was about to despair when I came across it. It was just what I needed and I thank you for providing women an alternative. Please keep up the good work.
